August 11 to 15 witnessed the national finals of 18th National College Students “Siemens Cup” China Intelligent Manufacturing Challenge (hereinafter referred to as CIMC Challenge). HFU students won second prizes in such four competitions as Industrial Hardware Research and Design, Discrete Industry Automation (Logic Algorithm), Digital Twins-Virtual Debugging, Lean Intelligent System Design and Optimization, while HFU won the Excellent Organization Award.
CIMC Challenge is a top and an innovative science and technology competition for undergraduates and postgraduates majoring in Automation, Process Equipment and Control, and Mechatronics in China. The 2024 CIMC Challenge includes 9 competition, with 5,861 teams from 756 universities across the country competing for the prizes. Altogether 596 teams from 298 universities advanced to national finals, which reached a historic high in terms of competition scale.
HFU teachers and students have won prizes in the national finals of CIMC Challenge for multiple times, showcasing the fruit of the University’s applied innovative talent training.
